Certified Tutor
My name is Dan M. and I am an MD candidate. I am finishing my last month of clinical rotations and graduating medical school on March 15th. In the meantime, before beginning my Internal Medicine residency on July 1st, I plan to use my experience tutoring here in New York City. I have over 3 years of experience tutoring high school math, multiple science specialties, and Spanish. In addition, I have been a peer to peer tutor at the graduate school level in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Immunology, and Biostatistics.
Through my experiences in both tutoring and medical school, I understand that learning can be challenging and isn't always fun. However, when you find someone who is passionate about a subject and has a good base of knowledge, learning and retaining information can be so much more manageable. I am here to help do that.
Science and Math are not for everyone but I have committed my education career to learn and research these subjects. I graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Biological Sciences with a Bachelor's of Science majoring in biology with a focus on genetics. At the University of Minnesota, I researched in a molecular biology lab focused on proteins affecting HIV. I have over 5 years of experience tutoring in varying subjects and at different levels as mentioned before.
I look forward to helping you or your child overcome whatever study barrier you have been facing. Let me take my passions and education and help you get through that tricky math class or seemingly endless science textbooks. Please contact me with any questions you may have about how I can help, my experience or inquiries. I look forward to using my time off for the betterment of your test scores! I hope to hear from you soon, Dan.
