Certified Tutor

I am in my fourth year of teaching. I currently work at a school for gifted students. I have a Masters in Education and a Bachelors in Math, both from Harvard.

I started tutoring and teaching at the beginning of college. I have variety of tutoring/teaching experiences ranging from working with elementary school students to college students.

I tutor all K-12 Math courses and introductory college mathematics courses. My favorite course to tutor is Calculus AB/1. I believe I enjoy teaching it because it lends itself to a variety of approaches, from graphical and numerical to strictly symbolic.

When working with students, I try to understand how students think and work from there.

Outside of Mathematics, I enjoy learning history, keeping up with current events and politics. I also play the guitar.
