Certified Tutor

I graduated from Wright State University with degrees in Integrated Language Arts Education and English. I taught at a Christian Hybrid School in Ohio for three years, in the subject areas of 5-6 grade Language Arts, cooking, home-ec, and American Sign Language. I recently had a baby and have not returned to teaching, but I look forward to using the teaching skills I have acquired for tutoring. Getting one-on-one time with students and seeing individual students grow and develop was my favorite part of teaching. I look forward to experiencing that again through tutoring. I believe education is important for a whole and rich life; that people should never stop learning. I think it is especially important for each child to discover their own unique learning style and to be given the opportunity to use them discovering and learning about what they are passionate about. Those skills will last far beyond the classroom.
