Funny story, but I had a bard for a second grade teacher. He got me hooked on the Odyssey, which ended up defining my academic life. Writing, myth, journalism, linguistics, history: it's all a part of this huge story, a story with lots of parts we're all working on. I'm a nerd about how it works, and I've studied it from a lot of angles. As a tutor, I'm all about helping people find their voice and that part in the big story.
