Certified Tutor
In 2017, I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.S. in Physics. I began tutoring while an undergraduate for various programs offered through the college. My experience is mostly with high school students, though I have tutored middle school and college students. I helped students with various math subjects (geometry, algebra, and trigonometry), high school chemistry, and both high school and university level physics.
In my experience, most students need multiple "ah-ha!" moments before truly understanding and getting excited about learning the material. And because of this, students are often initially intimidated and discouraged by STEM subjects since it can take so many tries before getting it right. By creating a solid conceptual foundation in these areas, I believe any student is capable of learning this complex material through persistence and maintaining motivation.
