My name is Chelsea Dodd. I have enjoyed teaching in Prince George's County Public School System for 6 years. I had the opportunity to work at both ends of the proverbial elementary spectrum. In fourth grade, I taught 9-and-10-year-olds science and math and as a kindergarten teacher I focused mostly on teaching children to read and basic mathematics. These very different experiences have provided me with a deeper, more meaningful understanding of what students need to be successful both academically and socially at different developmental stages. Finally, I love to learn and I love to teach! I hope that I will have the chance to meet and educate other children looking to do their best!
