I am a freshman at Maquette University in Wisconsin. Currently, I am majoring in Cognitive Science and will double major with Philosophy including a minor in education. My previous coursework has included Rhetorics in Criminal Justice, Philosophy 1001, Biology 1001, Elementary Statistics, and Psychology 1001. Personally, I love art and philosophy, and in my free time I read, create, and discuss with friends.
Anyone can learn anything with time, practice, collaboration, and a growth mindset. I wish to encourage competency, transformational learning, lifelong learning, and general transference of skills. A perfect teaching situation is a collaboration between both teacher and student. Lesson plans are designed by both teacher and pupil with consideration of learning styles and interests. Course materials, activities, and assessment instruments are designed around plans.
