I have been teaching Biology/Environmental Science for the past 4 years. Three of the past four I taught virtually for an online charter school.

Despite being a teacher, school did not always come easy to me. I understand that traditional teaching practices like lecturing work for some, but not all. It took me a while, but once I found what worked best for me as a student, I really started to excel.

It is my goal to help my students not only learn their content, but also figure out what type of learner they are, and give them the power to acheive more than thought possible in the classroom.
