Certified Tutor

I first started tutoring in high school, when I volunteered at my town's junior high helping sixth through eight graders with English, science, math and history. I continued to tutor in college while I pursued a bachelor's degree in English. I volunteered with an honor society to help other students improve their papers and become better writers. I found my passion for teaching by helping other students and watching them learn.

I graduated from college in May 2018, and I previously worked as a journalistic writer and editor in Wisconsin before moving to Atlanta.

In my free time I like to read, write and hike. I'm always reading a different book, and I bring my love of language and writing to my work with students.

I want to help students succeed by giving them one-on-one attention and the chance to ask questions to learn and improve. I believe that with guidance, hard work and a dedicated instructor, every student can attain their academic goals.
