The medical field has always been of great interest in the early stages of my high school years. Initially I wasn't sure about what exactly I wanted to do. It was from the time that I spent volunteering at Medical Centers prior to college admission, that sparked my interest in the health care field and patient sustenance. This interest was later refined as I began my first part time job as a pharmacy technician in the Fall of 2011, during my undergraduate studies. Working in a pharmacy setting and observing the care, patience and knowledge needed to assist patients with varying medical conditions led me to pursue a career that demanded such qualities. Pharmacy serves as an avenue that will allow me to implement my charisma, technical knowledge and new outlook to this vital profession that interfaces care, science and effectiveness to a patient's current and future way of life. I would like to pass on the tips and knowledge I have learned throughout my years in school and work to help the next generation be even more successful.
