Certified Tutor
I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Economics, complimented with a minor in Mathematics. Learning is my favorite thing to do, so it follows that I enjoy sharing that knowledge and helping others learn in any way that I can. I can relate to those who have struggled with Mathematics, as I have myself.
Math is a language, and languages are difficult to grasp at first, let alone be proficient in. After the first math class that I did poorly in at U of M, I built a comprehensive, new approach to the subject to ensure that I would succeed in the future. Although it will take time, dedication, and enthusiasm, I am confident that I can help you become a better student and exceed the expectations that you have set for yourself. Math is a wonderful subject, as the skills you will learn are transferable to everyday life. They allow you to think more critically and see things in a different light. Math is not boring! It is fun, and we will have fun. I could help you solve a problem, but I am more interested in teaching you how to solve any problem.
While I can tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math and Economics. Math describes Economics, and Economics describes how the world works. That is my greatest interest- understanding how things work. In my spare time, I enjoy personally investing my savings, basketball and football, building things, and cars.
