I am a graduate of the University of Michigan and I have a Law Degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City (UMKC). I'm licensed in Missouri. I recently retired after 20 years as a lawyer in the Federal Government (Social Security Disability Law).

I enjoy teaching and I have mentored legal writers throughout my career. I want to give back to my community and I have an extensive academic background. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and I can provide them with powerful insights into academic achievement as well as provide them with the skills and academic fundamentals needed for subjects like English, American Literature, Political Science, American History, Social Studies, and Legal Studies. I have years of experience with regard to academic achievement and my approach to teaching focuses on the individual needs of the student and does not attempt to impose one academic approach. I have found that flexibility in teaching is key and that kids and young adults need that flexibility if they are to do their best.

I'm an individual who is excited about academics and I hope to pass that excitement onto my students.

My hobbies include golf (taught it for a period) and political studies. I also enjoy both college and pro football.
