Certified Tutor

I got my start tutoring as an undergraduate at Grand Valley State University, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in physics. I worked in a walk-in tutoring center, where students would come with science and/or math problems they were struggling with and I would help them work out the concepts needed to do those problems. I obtained about 3.5 academic years of tutoring experience there.

I then went to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for graduate school. On my way to earning my PhD in physics there, I gained a lot of experience as a Teaching Assistant there, including as a tutor and leader of discussion sections.

I love talking about physics and math, and over the years I have become skilled at identifying what students don't understand and expressing concepts in a way that helps them understand. If you are struggling with physics or math, I would love to help you succeed!
