Hi! My name is Katie and I am so excited to help student achieve academic success! I'm a third year linguistics and sociology major at the University of Virginia, and although I went to high school in northern Virginia, I've moved around so much that I like to say I'm 'from all over'.

I love sharing my passion for learning with the people around me. I've really gotten more into tutoring in the past year or so by volunteering with the VISAS program at UVA, which has given me the amazing opportunity to help teach English language skills international students and staff.

When I have free time I like to cook with my friends, read, or listen to music. I'm also part of a student run orchestra here at school, which is a fun way to keep playing flute and also to make new friends!

I can't wait to meet new students and work with you to reach their goals!!
