Personal Statement
My undergraduate degree is in Physics and a Mathematics minor from the University Of Science and Technology in Ghana. My Masters degree is in Physics from the Queen's University in Ontario Canada. I obtained a PhD in applied physics from Alabama A& M University.
I have taught Introductory and advanced physics courses at the college level for over 20 years. I have also taught some courses in Mathematics (Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Numerical Analysis, and Applied Mathematics).
I have done a lot of tutoring in introductory physics, mathematics (Pre-calculus, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Basic Math) and physical science at the college level for over 25 years. I have also done tutoring in science (mainly Physics and Physical Science) and mathematics at the pre-college level (6th -12th grade). A lot of the students I have tutored have gone on to college and graduate schools. I really love tutoring because working one-on-one with students can be a great experience and rewarding in a way that being in front of several students in a lecture just isn't.
