Certified Tutor

I hold a B.A. in Liberal Arts and a Master's in Early Childhood, Childhood and Children with Disabilities. I embarked on a career as a teacher because I love the rewarding experience it brings to help impact a child's life in a positive way.

I value education and believe each child deserves the most priceless and valuable education possible in order to become successful adults.

Additionally, I am New York State certified to teach general education birth-grades 6. Since graduating from my Master's program I have gained a lot of experience teaching pre-k up to high school. My favorite subject and strongest subject to teach is English Language Arts.

My expertise lies primarily with elementary grades where I excel in stimulating and guiding children to master literacy.

I also taught at a preschool called The Goddard School where I taught ages 2-4 years old. I created lesson plans to help develop their cognitive development/math skills, sensory/motor skills through creative art and language arts. They performed hands-on activities as well as through music/movement. They also learned about science and nature.

I love being a tutor because I enjoy forming relationships with children by helping them learn and grow.

In addition, I have excellent reading and writing skills. I also have a high vocabulary. I am a content writer and have my own blog. I welcome the opportunity to tutor students of all grade levels who need help in reading comprehension, research papers, and essay writing. I have a passion for books and creative writing.

My hobbies include fashion, travel, exercise, reading and writing.
