Certified Tutor

I am a lifelong learner of the French language and culture. After majoring in French as an undergraduate and spending my entire junior year abroad in Strasbourg, France, I was selected by Fulbright as an English teaching assistant and taught at a public French high school in Lyon, France. This experience confirmed my desire to teach French at the secondary level, which I did for 13 years at a private school outside of Philadelphia, PA. While teaching full time, I earned my M.Ed in French and became a certified AP French Language and Culture instructor. For four years I served as the World Languages Department chair and was the lead French teacher. After stepping back from full-time teaching this past year in order to stay at home with my twin daughters, I'd love to get back to one of my passions and help students succeed en francais!
