I believe that tutoring is more than just teaching the material at hand. In order to have a successful tutoring relationship, there needs to be a strong personal relationship between the student and teacher. I am more than willing to provide a comfortable environment in which my student does not hesitate to ask questions and make mistakes. It is from these mistakes that they will be learn of their strengths. I will also make sure to be interactive with the parents and teachers if possible, due to the importance of a strong support system for the student. At the end of the day, I am not looking for my student to become a straight A. I am striving for them to improve and see the results in the amount of effort they put towards the subject.
