Certified Tutor

I am currently attending Rutgers University pursuing a degree in Biological Sciences so that I can attend med school or become a teacher. My love for teaching started in high school when I had the opportunity to be a Kindergarten teacher at my church. It taught me that every student learns differently and got me to use my creativity to ensure my lesson plans were fun and engaging for all my students. I used my love for music and art to create songs and crafts that helped the students connect with the material. My goal was to get my students excited coming to class and leave with a mind full of new knowledge. Being a kindergarten teacher led me to become a tutor at my high school, where I tutored math and chemistry of various levels. I'm able to interact with students of all ages, and to work from the bottom up so that they can leave as experts. I believe that learning can be fun and teaching must be shaped around the student and his/her passions.
