Teaching isn't for everyone, but teaching is for me. Teaching requires you to be a parent, therapist, nurse, and wear many other different hats. It is not a 9-5 job, but an always evolving job. How can you make your classroom better? How can you make your lessons stronger? How can I reach that student? Although I have the title of teacher, I will forever be a student. Every student has their own story and when you build a relationship with them to the point they are willing to share it that becomes the best reward you could ever ask for. I always want my kids to know that I am invested in them and that I want them to succeed not only in the classroom, but to be the best version of themselves that they can be. The biggest reward I receive from teaching each and every day is each student walking into my classroom and having the privilege to spend time with them.
