Certified Tutor

I am a pre-medical student in Albany Medical College's 8 year BA/MD program with Siena College. Prior, I attended Staten Island Technical High School.
I first became interested in teaching when I was in high school and began teaching different religion classes within my local church such as church history, language, and literature. In college, I began to apply this passion towards tutoring academics such as biology, chemistry, and math.
I have decided to tutor students in a way that ensures no students get left behind. For this reason, I use different visual, auditory, and discussion based methods that ensure students can tackle problems using different tactics. Using these methods has helped students work out difficult problems in different ways so that difficult concepts quickly become elementary ones. As a student, I know what students have trouble with because I have experienced and overcome these obstacles myself. For this reason, I am capable of speaking to students in a language they understand and can teach material with a perspective professors cannot give.
While I do tutor a broad range of subjects, I have learned that I am most passionate about Organic Chemistry, Mathematics, and SAT prep.
In my free time, I enjoy playing board games, watching and playing soccer, and binge watching Netflix.
