I am a recent graduate of Wright State University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. I aspire to go to graduate school next Fall and within a few years, teach Literature at a notable university. I enjoy traveling to South American countries to experience the culture and in turn, enrich the lives of those I come in contact with by tutoring them in English. I have also participated with a group named L.E.A.P Conversation Partners during my time at Wright State University. By volunteering with L.E.A.P Conversation Partners, I have been able to help international students improve their communication in English and have become more conscious of my own dialogue. Although my experience with tutoring is primarily with ESL students, I am most passionate about American Literature, AP and ACT English Literature and Composition Test Prep, and developing strong writing skills with my students. On a personal level, I am a huge fan of the Cleveland Indians, Lord of the Rings, and the Oxford comma. I enjoy spending my days reading, writing poetry and short fiction, and running with my golden doodle, Blue. I have been published in several Literary journals for my original poetry.
