Certified Tutor

My undergraduate education was completed at Penn State University. Afterward, I obtained my PhD at the University of Tennessee, where I conducted research in nuclear reactor design. I am currently an engineer at the Defense Board, but am looking forward to assisting students in need of math help. Although I do not have experience tutoring in the past, I have never hesitated to get help when having trouble with subjects myself (whether from professors or graduate teaching assistants).

Having a strong analytic background, I enjoy working on math subjects. Whenever I am having trouble with a problem set, I try to visualize the problem on paper and go from there.

Outside of work, I am fairly active and enjoy sports, such as golf and baseball. In my free time, I also play music and watch movies. Having a broad spectrum of interests and an outgoing personality allows me to work well with others in one-on-one and group situations.
