I am a Finance major at the University of South Florida. Math, economics, and writing are my cup of tea! I have experience working with high school, middle school, and elementary age students on a variety of subjects including reading comprehension, essay writing, mathematics (particularly algebra), and test taking techniques. As an honors student, I understand how valuable education is and have taken time to carefully learn to navigate and succeed in an educational setting. I'm so excited to share my knowledge and studying techniques with younger students! Many students feel rushed or left behind when a subject is covered in class, and one-on-one sessions with a tutor who will take things at the student's pace can completely change their outlook on a subject. I believe in exploring a variety of learning styles to find the best fit for students and give them a set of learning tools that they can always go back to by themselves in the future. When I'm not in class or tutoring, I enjoy spending my free time knitting, practicing yoga, and reading.
