Teaching is truly a passion of mine. I have seen that most students who struggle with math and hard science have not had the information presented to them in the right way. While I have been working on my physics/electrical engineering double major at Georgia Tech, I have spent my free time lecturing to high school and college physics/math classes. I have also worked with classmates one on one. My experience shows me that instead varying expectation (A,B,C,D) and fixing the pace we should fix the expectation at a mastery level and vary the time spent on a topic.
I tutor college and high school algebra, high school and college physics, trigonometry/precalculus, and middle school math. I have expertise in electromagnetism and circuit analysis. Nothing brings me more joy than to see a student "get it" for the first time and realize that the subject is no longer impossible. I guarantee to find a way to educate my clients in a way best suited for them and provide context for what they are being taught. I am very patient with my students and beyond anything else I want them to see the value in what they are learning. I have kept all of my old test from math and science and will fall back on those for test prep. I will go over common mistakes and things to watch out for. Most concepts have pitfalls that can be easy to step in we don't watch out for them.
My favorite subjects to tutor are physics and the math foundation. I love these subjects because it helps us understand the world we live in and is the link between the world of math and the environment we live.
Outside of academia I have a passion for music. I play piano and guitar. I love spending time with my two dogs and am usually working on one or more electrical engineering projects.
