Certified Tutor

I received my high school education at St. Louis University High School. Currently I am working towards an aerospace major and a computer science minor at the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University. I enjoy tutoring math and science topics but am also able to confidently teach other subjects. Usually I will tutor students by guiding students through the pathways that I took to understand a topic while providing some helpful resources, such as notes and examples. Working through problems and building confidence through practice is also very important. Outside of school work I enjoy playing guitar, sailing (when I can actually find a sailboat small enough for me to handle, or just a sailboat in general), being outside, running, driving, cars, building gadgets (the light switch in my room runs on a homemade clapper), and many other things. Hopefully I'll get to know my students' interests as well so I can incorporate them into the subjects we are discussing. Once you see where something can be applied it becomes much more interesting.
