Certified Tutor

I am a junior at Vanderbilt University majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Mathematics, with a minor in Engineering Management. I have taught kids of all ages at the Beit Miriam school in Nashville, TN, and the Meyer Kranzberg Learning Center in St. Louis, MO. The subjects I tutor are a variety of maths as well as MATLAB. Of those subjects, I am most passionate about tutoring Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1. I believe that those two courses are extremely important building blocks for any future math, and the concepts can be difficult for some students to grasp. I will work to help any student develop the core skills and strategies necessary to be successful in both their current class as well as any future math class they take. In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching all sports from ultimate frisbee to baseball, and everything in between. I also love to travel, hike, and explore the beauty the world has to offer.
