I have always known that I wanted to be an educator because I have a passion for learning. I chose to focus on English Language Arts because it is the foundation of so many other subjects, and the basis for strong communication and critical thinking. I have worked with students of all ages for several years with a focus on building reading and writing skills. I want to help students succeed, and make learning engaging in the process.
Currently I am student teaching full-time in an 8th Grade English classroom. I will be graduating in May with a Bachelor's in English Education from Florida State University. After graduation, I will have my teaching certification in secondary English, with a certificate for teaching English as a Second Language.
