I've been a classroom teacher for 18 years, during which time I've had the privilege of teaching students from 6th through 12th grades. I've taught Middle School Language Arts, surveys of British and American Literature, courses on World Mythology, Shakespeare, and Creative Writing. I've also had the opportunity to be a private tutor throughout those 18 years, working on test prep, elementary school work, and general organization. I believe that teachers should be passionate about what they do, gentle in their approach, patient, and dedicated to being helpful to students. That philosophy has helped me become a better teacher and tutor. I hope to never stop growing and learning!
