I received my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the College of Charleston and my Master of Arts in Education specializing in English Language Learners. Since graduating, I taught Spanish for a year at a middle school, while also teaching English as a second language. I currently use Spanish daily at my job as one of the Spanish interpreters. My subject area is mainly Spanish, but I aso tutor in English and English language learning. I enjoy helping students find the similarities between English and Spanish. I believe learning should be fun and engaging in order to reach the student. When I have free time, I enjoy spending time with my boys, reading, playing softball, and painting.
