Certified Tutor

My passion lies in combining my interests of social organizational psychology, music (trumpet), and education. I am currently studying Social-Organizational Psychology at the graduate level at Columbia University in the City of New York. I have a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

I have played the trumpet for over 20 years and have been honored to participate in Drum Corps International as a member of the Bluecoats and Crossmen. I have also been honored to be a semi-finalist in the small ensemble division of the National Trumpet Competition for two years, to have been a member of top ensembles in college as well as district band in high school, to have performed recitals in college, to have studied with experienced and professional musicians, and to have performed with Marvin Hamlisch.
I have taught music as a private trumpet teacher and as an Assistant Band Director. My musical experience also centers around the marching arts as I am an experienced marcher.

I have also tutored students for the SAT. Additionally, as teacher training and working as a substitute teacher, I have taught a wide range of subjects to various grade levels.

My business background consists of success in training, management, and human resources.

I am currently studying social psychology, organizational psychology, group dynamics, conflict resolution, and emotion regulation.
