Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Iowa State University. I received my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Health with a focus on K-12 health education. Since graduating I have become an avid traveler. I have been to many different countries and countless cities. While traveling I taught and tutored students from all backgrounds, similar and different to my own. I have taught in both private and public settings, and even taught in different languages. I enjoy teaching and learning with my students because it is very rewarding for both the student and for me. I am most passionate about English (written and spoken), Math, and Technology. I enjoy the experiences I make with each student. Helping students set goals and reaching them together is rewarding. Since students are our future and should be treated as such, my goal is to educate all those who are willing to take the time and effort to be successful. I believe that success takes more than want and belief. It takes dedication, hard-work, and overall commitment. I possess all of these qualities so that I can foster the success of each of my students. When I am away from tutoring and teaching I enjoy traveling; seeing new and exciting places. I've trained and taught martial arts for four years and I still find it very enjoyable. I am an avid gamer as well and spend my down time challenging myself against others in computer based strategy games.
