Certified Tutor

I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fordham University in 2017. I believe that every student deserves an education that is founded on patience, persistence, and passion. Additionally, I believe that it is important to provide students with opportunities to fully explore their curiosities.

I am available to tutor English, essay and professional writing, grammar and syntax, adult literacy, and phonics. Helping students plan and develop their writing is by far my favorite part of being a tutor. I enjoy guiding my students into crafting pieces that are well researched, thorough, and true to their unique voice. As a Gates Millennium Scholarship Alum, I value integrity, leadership, academic excellence, and service. These values lie at the core of my teaching philosophy. I believe it is important for me to share the skill set that I've acquired with learners of all ages. I enjoy incorporating interesting art and/or literature as well as fun, straightforward, real world examples into my lessons in order to make concepts easier to grasp.
