I am currently a 9th grade English teacher for Yes Prep Public Schools in Houston, TX. I am a native of Seattle, WA where I attended and graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in English and minor in diversity. Throughout the years, I've had opportunities to study English abroad in Italy and London, worked as a Special Education Teaching Assistant, youth development, college recruiting and many other tutoring positions from 1st grade-high school. I absolutely love knowing that I have the ability to inspire and teach our youth because I believe in a change so revolutionary. My goal in life is to reach as many students as possible to help them reach their full academic potential!
