Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Alfred University in Western New York. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. From there, I traveled and lived in Lake Tahoe California. I went on to earn a double Master's Degree from Temple University in TESOL/English Education. I taught 8th Grade English and Social Studies in Philadelphia, and then moved to New Jersey. I started teaching Kindergarten through Fifth Grade ESL in a Title 1 school, as well as adult ESL as an adjunct at various community colleges. Later, I earned a Master's Degree from Monmouth University in Educational Leadership/Principal/Supervisor. For the past 23 years I have been teaching various elementary grade levels. I love the students. My greatest joy is watching the lightbulb go off, and the excitement of understanding. I believe all can learn, and I try every day to impart my love of lifelong learning and adventure on my students. In my spare time I spend time with my husband and two children (and pets), practice yoga, travel, and I am an avid reader.
