I received my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Oregon in 2016. I am currently a post-baccalaureate scholar at Johns Hopkins University and plan to pursue a PhD in Neuroscience or Psychology at Johns Hopkins in 2018. I have many years of experience working as a tutor and a mentor; in high school, I tutored Latin and Physics for 3 years and as an undergraduate I mentored underclassmen in Psychology/Statistics coursework. I love tutoring Psychology and Statistics as those are two subjects I am most passionate about and are subjects I feel that I benefit the most from teaching. My teaching style is very laid-back and I strongly believe that a teacher should be just as willing to learn from the student as the student is from the teacher. I have the utmost amount of respect for my students and I hope that reflects in my reactions with them. Outside of academia, I enjoy running, yoga, photography (I'm on Instagram way too much!), and spending time with my cat.
