Certified Tutor

I am currently a Freshman Undergraduate student at the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University located in New York, New York. I received my High School Diploma from Staten Island Technical High School in June of 2017. I have no experience tutoring outside of assisting family and friends with schoolwork, but have worked as a camp counselor, working with children from the ages of 10-13. Regarding subjects, mathematics is my favorite and will play a large role in my academic career as I work towards my Degree in International Business and Finance. When teaching an exact science like maths, everything is exact and subjectivity plays almost no role in learning. I believe it is important to first develop the skills required as they will be the "tools in your toolbox", and then focus on taking different approaches and practicing different types of problems by thinking outside the box. Some of my personal hobbies include playing guitar, where I myself am a student of the internet, and athletics including calisthenics, boxing, and cycling, as I believe physical health is just as important as mental health. I am also a native speaker of the Russian language and have the ability to speak, read, and write fluently, in addition to three years of Advanced Russian Language course from High School. My values include true equality for all and look forward to tutoring!
