I am a Ph.D student in philosophy and religion in San Francisco. I have an M.A. in education and B.A. in writing, and have taught language arts to middle schoolers in the U.S. and to all ages in Ukraine as a Peace Corps volunteer. I created my own writing workshops and tutored graduate students through my university's Center for Writing and Scholarship. I also enjoy working as an editor, and currently coach tutors for an organization called Reading Partners, which pairs community volunteers with elementary students who struggle with reading. In my free time I enjoy karate and pet-sitting. I greatly enjoy helping people of all ages appreciate literature and express themselves in writing with greater clarity and creativity.
