Elizabeth: Framingham tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a highly skilled tutor, educator, mentor and coach. I work as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor teaching Academic English as well as a tutor, both to business professionals and general educational academic students. I have been in education for over ten years and absolutely love it!!
My professional persona is analytical with a sweet blend of everyday smiles and a cheerleading mentality. I am a person to go to with questions knowing you will receive my full attention and expertise as an academic.
I am a superior problem solver and researcher as well as a highly optimistic day to day and long term visionary. Problems that need to be addressed immediately or strategized and organized as a long term commitment receive my utmost attention, no matter how short or long it takes to develop and deploy solutions.
Outside of education, I have worked professionally in the arts and in oil and gas, specifically in exploration and geotechnical engineering.
I was born in Texas, but grew up in the ski town of Vail, Colorado. Before moving to Houston, I studied and worked for six years in London, England, where I was able to travel extensively.
I have a BA in Film Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder, a PostGraduate Diploma (MFA) in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Performing Arts and I am currently finishing my final thesis project to gain my MSc in Quality Assurance from California State University. I also have a Certification in TESOL/TESL/TEFL.
