I am a sophomore at the University of North Carolina. I spend my days working towards an economics major and a composition, rhetoric, and digital literacy minor. I spend my nights making tasty jams (music, not actually jelly). I can help you write, prepare for a standardized test, practice math, and more.
A long time ago, some primates made noises at each other. They wrote those noises on paper. Poof! We now have laws, electricity, toilets, burritos, computers, and civilization. The subjects you learn in school makes these wonderful things possible. Education can be a difficult, rigorous process, but without it we wouldnt be able to buy sandwiches at stores.
Im here to help you achieve your goals. If you dont know what those are, than Im here to help you discover them. You may be struggling with certain subject matter, preparing for a test, or simply want to stay on top of things. No matter your current skill or the subject matter, we will develop your knowledge through honest dialogue. We will establish personal and academic goals and track your progress towards them. We will work through why they are important and how your life will change when you reach them. We will reflect on how your achievements move you toward the future you want for yourself.
Each small academic victory signals your movement toward your ultimate goal: to become an educated individual. Someone who knows how to speak, read, write, calculate, and think cannot be stopped in our world. They can achieve anything of which they can conceive.
