Certified Tutor

I am currently a junior at Columbia University working toward a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sustainable Development. I have several years of work and extracurricular experience in creative writing, journalism, software engineering, web development, and more. I've been tutoring students since I was in seventh grade.

I volunteered as a Modular Robotics Demonstrator at my local children's museum for two years, was a co-founder for my high school's English and Writing Tutoring Center, and have worked as an urban farming and environmental stewardship educator for teens in the juvenile justice system. I have also informally tutored teens and young adults in ACT and college preparation, and have served as a computer science mentor for Girls Who Code.

I am passionate about helping students succeed, and love seeing the students I tutor develop their knowledge and improve their scores. Over the years, I've grown my skills in educating and tutoring by working with students of a variety of ages and backgrounds.

Outside of tutoring and school, I enjoy spending time hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing in the outdoors, drawing and graphic design, as well as exploring New York and trying out vegetarian recipes!
