I am currently an undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin. I anticipate on graduating in May 2019 with a B.S. in biomedical engineering. I have worked with high school students in algebra and calculus. My main goal as a tutor is for my students to understand the fundamentals really well so that they can tackle any kind of problem relating to math. I try to make math more relatable and interesting so that students can fully grasp the concept behind algebra, calculus, etc rather then simply memorizing equations and plugging in numbers. In addition, I have taught intro Japanese to college students. I am fluent in Japanese, and I believe that I can provide students a valuable time of talking with a true Japanese speaker. I can teach them, not only the language, but also the culture and ideology behind Japanese. I hope that my students can learn more about Japanese language and culture than through their usual classes.
