I graduated from Swarthmore College in 2016 as a McCabe Scholar. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in music and additional coursework in statistics. As both a high school and college student, I developed a passion for helping children and adolescents learn through my work as a math tutor, a nanny, and a substitute teaching assistant in a kindergarten classroom. I enjoy tutoring a variety of subjects, but my favorite subjects to tutor would have to be writing, math and music theory. I think it is crucial for students to feel relaxed, supported, and confident as they develop academic skills. I strive to make learning an exciting and motivating experience for the kids I tutor. When I'm not working, I enjoy making music, experimenting with new recipes, and taking my dog for walks.
