Certified Tutor

This past May I graduated from New Hope Christian College in Eugene, OR with a Bachelor of Science in music. Though music is my degree, I also have a passion for writing. I am constantly reading and working on my own novels which I hope to one day publish. My Senior year in high school I was a Cadet Teacher for the Freshman English class, and I also tutored my Junior year in college. I regularly helped edit my friend's papers and aimed to help them better understand what they were writing on and how to communicate it in a professional and easy-to-understand way. This is why I tutor Writing, English, Essay Editing, Elementary and Middle School Reading and Writing, High School Writing and Spelling Bee. I also aim to help students become more confident in not only their writing but in themselves, which is why I tutor Public Speaking in order to train them in how to communicate effectively and comfortably. One of my other passions and interests is math, as I have always enjoyed it and have often helped others understand math processes. This is why I also tutor Middle School Math and hope to tutor Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and Geometry. I am always one to have fun while working, and music helps me relax and focus on what I am writing or solving. Not only do I aim to finish my work, but to do it well and to build relationships with those I am helping. I want to be able to invest in their skills and their character. Learning is important, and growing is too.
