Hello! I am a recent Yale graduate with a major in applied mathematics, specializing in calculus and statistics. Before joining Varsity, I tutored fellow college students, high school students, and adults in a wide variety of subjects, including math, reading comprehension, SAT prep, GED prep, and United States citizenship testing prep. I have been studying Spanish for ten years and am building a working fluency in Italian, having studied in Tuscany during my junior year. I have communicated with students in both English and Spanish. Before college, I graduated from the Townview Talented and Gifted Magnet High School with highest honors, having completed heavy Advanced Placement coursework. In my spare time, I draw and paint commissioned portraits. I have a strong passion for motivating children and believe that engaging their sense of creativity is the surest path to improvement.
