Hi, I'm Nick Velezis. I'm a recent graduate from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering. I am a tutor right now as I look for a full time engineering position. Even after that occurs, I will still tutor because it is what I like to do. Ever since I started tutoring friends in class junior year in high school, I found that giving someone a way to understand the world better and give them insight on what that person can truly do is intrinsically rewarding. I want to continue tutoring people in the hopes that those students will truly understand the topics they are learning and, if they are truly invested in their studies, understand who they are as individuals and what paths they want to take in their lives. Personally, I found it hard to know what you want to do for the rest of your life in the short amount of time high school prepares the students, so I am hoping that I will bring new ideas that will make my students truly think about these really hard questions.
