Certified Tutor

I have completed a bachelors degree in biochemistry with a minor in philosophy, at Stony Brook University. I am currently a Masters student in the School of professional development, pursuing a teaching degree in biology/chemistry. It has always been my goal to be an educator. This past year I was an organic chemistry teaching assistant where I gained valuable experience teaching my peers. I have also tutored students one on one in chemistry.
I have learned many different teaching strategies and methods through my experience. Every student learns in a different way so I personalize my approach to each student to suit their needs.
