I am Earnestine Elaine Dawson and I am a digital strategist. I graduated from Tennessee State University with a bachelors degree in Mass Communications and from The Johns Hopkins University with masters in Public Policy. I also have a graduate certificate in Digital Media Skills from American University. When I am not on social media planning communication strategy, I enjoy binge watching my favorite shows, researching random topics on the interweb, reading news articles, and hanging out with family and friends.

There is a point in every student's life where you notice you need help. When I was a student, I know when these instances occurred and barely had the resources to access the tools needed to be successful. Now, I want to use my skills & experience to help students be their best academic selves to succeed in both their personal and professional lives. I begin tutoring young children who had difficulty reading and found the joy in giving them the confidence necessary to not only read well but also enjoy learning through the words.

As a tutor, I like to get to know the student to figure out their learning styles to tailor my tutoring efforts to meet their needs. The student is recognizing help is needed so my philosophy is to prepare in a way that is as easy & gratifying for them to learn. My job is to create the environment where they can succeed with guidance.
