I absolutely love my foreign languages teaching profession! The very definition of what it means to be a literate person in our society is rapidly changing because of technology. I enjoy working to support students??? communication skills in the classroom, on paper, and online. I want to make reading and writing relevant to my students??? lives; this requires that I think bigger than simple pen and paper assignments.

???My students engage in both write passion blogs, go on synchronous and asynchronous discussions about literature, and various topics annotate digitally online, and create multimedia digital portfolios to share with the world! I feel fortunate to teach at a time when there is so much information right at our fingertips and so many new approaches to teaching.???
