I completed my Bachelor in Business with a concentration in Accounting from DeVry University. My plan is to start pursuing a MBA with a concentration in Finance later this year. I enjoy playing chess and golf. I am very competitive at both although I have been humbled more than a few times. I like to add fun and humor in just about every situation, when appropriate. Combine those traits with learning and we have creative platform for an exceptional learning environment.

My tutoring strategy is to make learning fun and take the fright out of accounting. I want students to be able to use appropriate formulas when working problems. In addition, I like to show how this can be accomplished using Microsoft Excel. It is safe to say that by far, my favorite subjects are accounting and finance. I love to help individuals with accounting because I have learned it is more research and placement than it is math. In addition, I love solving problems. I am a critical thinker, therefore, I challenge others to use their analytical side of the brain more.

My motto is "each one can reach one". Someone helped me and I owe it to them and myself to help others. We must remember to "pay it forward" whenever given the opportunity.
